Kate McGrath
School for Girls Bus

We are currently raising funds to pay for repairs to the school bus at the Kate McGrath School for Girls. This bus transports 50 girls to and from school each day. Currently, they are having to walk 3 miles or hitch a lift on the back of a motorbike. We are hoping to get the bus back on the road as soon as possible. All donations via our website this month will go towards this fund unless you request otherwise. Any surplus funds will be used to help the school in other ways.

You can send money to our Paypal account. You don't need a Paypal account of your own, just a debit or credit card. Click ‘Donate’ to donate securely.

If you find it easier, you can transfer money directly to our bank account. If you bank online with a British bank this is usually straightforward to set up. The details are as follows:

If you are a British taxpayer and are able to make a Gift Aid declaration, please use this form. See our contact information for addresses.

The information will be shared with HMRC and will be retained by Friends of Freetown for accountability and record-keeping purposes. If you require a documentary record of our bank details, there is a PDF file with this information.
